Early one morning, Peter and friends were in a boat . . . again

And, once again, the wind was hard the waves were high

Jesus came out, (walking on the water)

Peter was afraid, he thought he saw a ghost!

Then Jesus spoke, (walking on the water!)

“Don’t be scared, it’s me!”

“Do you want to walk on water with me?”

(I do!)

“Do you want to walk on water with me?”

(Yeah!)

“Do you want to walk on water with me?”

(Okay, here I come)

Peter got up, trusting in Jesus, trusting in Jesus,

He put his foot out, and the waves felt like solid ground.

Peter stood up, (walking on the water)

He was not afraid, he was looking at Jesus.

Peter had faith, (walking on the water)

Take a step, and another step

“Do you want to walk on water with me?”

(I do!)

“Do you want to walk on water with me?”

(Yeah!)

“Do you want to walk on water with me?”

(Okay, here I come)

Peter looked down, he took his eyes off Jesus

He started to sink, the wind was hard the waves were high

Jesus reached down, (walking on the water)

He grabbed Peter’s hand and held him up

Then Jesus spoke, (walking on the water)

Why so scared? I am here!

“Do you want to walk on water with me?”

(I do!)

“Do you want to walk on water with me?”

(Yeah!)

“Do you want to walk on water with me?”

(Okay, here I come)
